I spent a decent chunk of last winter and spring designing the UX of a workout-tracking app geared towards athletes participating in strength training. As a gym rat myself, I noticed a long time ago that there doesn’t exist a useable workout-tracking application for iOS. Instead, I’ve been carrying a notebook and pen around the gym for years. It serves its purpose, but it’s beyond impractical.
